[Mad World final]

Good movie...

I heard that same version of the song on Without A Trace last week. My question to the world, though, is which came first? The Gary Jules or Tears for Fears version of the song? I heard the Tears for Fears version several years ago... I wouldn't be surprised if it was the first one, and this is a more keyed-down version, nor would I be surprised if this is the original and TFF redid the song a little bit more techno.

There is about a million different versions of it but Tears for Fears wrote the original. Gary Jules rewrote it specifically for the movie "Donnie Darko" with 2 versions, this was one, the other has some synth and a drum machine.

Okay...

Before I forget (for a third time) you NEED to fix the loader!! If you click "characters" it doesn't do SQUAT SHIT. But when you hit "Play" it zooms through all the characters very quickly. Annoying!

Once again, the voices and references are hillarious (you even managed to work in a Simpsons reference). Nice work. When do we get Ep 4?

OK! Relax buddy. It does work the button just sucks ass. I promise I'll never make buttons this annoying again! It should work when you click on the words 'character guide'. Only the letters respond. I know but it should work if you keep at it. You're going to really hate the buttons after. As for the Play button skipping everything... Since I stole the loader from Newgrounds I don't know how to make it skip all of that. I may be gaining some skills but I know next to nothing about action scripting. But I'm gonna learn one day. I'm glad you enjoyed the Simpsons house. I consider that something special for everyone who enjoyed my first weird flash. Since I have finals next week I'll put the 4th one out on Wednesday again. Thanks and I hope you get the buttons to work.

Funny like the last one. Did I see the little cabbit from Tenchi Muyo outlined in the trees behind Ryoga as he walked in?

And that was a funny Poochy reference with Akane.

The artwork was better this time around, but there were fewer selections.

HAHHAAAA! You're reading into this too much! But it does look like it, don't it? It wasn't on purpose. Sometimes they put subliminal images in anime like when someone gets hit the screen will flash and there will be a picture of something ridiculous like an eggplant and you can see it if you play it in slow motion. That's what this reminds me of. I'm glad you like that Poochy part, one of the many reasons I made a Simpsons flash was because it's the King of all comedy and I can't help but steal from them once in a while. Here's another one, "So she's one of those, don't call me a chick chicks?" Bart said something like that in the episode where Homer is accused of sexual harassment. First it's subliminal, then I realize where it came from and it just fits. The shows been on SO long I can't help it. :) Thanks for the compliment, yeah there isn't enough interactivity in this one. Unfortunately you will have to deal with that for just one more episode which has no options. Just think of it as a long video inter-mission when you beat a hard level in a console game. Be patient I go overboard with the story sometimes but I don't forget the interactivity it's supposed to have. Stay tuned.

Great stuff...

But I viewed it as though I were viewing a rough draft. I expect a full version after this. I never in my life had the idea to do a moving story board for my work first. You know, that will probably save me a butt-load of time trying to pull together some of my projects, which I tend to script, then find out what's feasible in animation later.

So the question remains: When's the "full" version of this coming out?

It's okay

The artwork is kinda painful to look at, though, considering it's about 1/10000th of a percent as good as Rumiko Takahashi... but it was funny as hell hearing Akane with that deep voice.

Thank you for your review! Why do you think it's unfair? OH if only all Negrounders would review as fairly! HEY you're one of the few people who digged Akane's voice as something humorous! Can't thank you enough for that! And '1/10000th of a percent' as good at Takahashi is quite a compliment.

This was the best goddamn movie ever in the world ever ever ever ever ever! You should all be ashamed to not be this good!

Okay, I'm kidding, but this was pretty funny and goes to prove that just because something has "bad" graphics, doesn't mean that it's not still good. :)

I guess I'm not one for drug movies...

I dunno, I've never done 'shrooms and pot and robitussin all at once. I've never done 'shrooms at all...

Anyhow, I didn't stop watching the movie, because I wanted to see if anything interesting was going to happen. Well, nothing really did, but at least some of the effects were cool.

This could have been better, but really... it could have been MUCH worse. Not bad.

Well I've never done any drugs, I just made a movie about it. Glad to hear you have never done shrooms and pot and robitussin all at once. But I know something else you have never done... Made a flash movie. So don't give my hard work a 3 with no real reason other than, "nothing interesting happened". Like what?! what did you want to happen!? Did you want a joint to fly out of your computer and into your mouth? Give examples! it helps!
